Man died during a police chase
A man with drug-related warrants ran from police Sunday in Calabasas and died from injuries that he sustained when he jumped from a roof. Police found the suspect in the living room of the first floor of the building that he allegedly jumped into through the skylight. Police said that the suspect may have suffered lacerations when he dove through the sky light and may have bled to death. Officers tried to get the suspect as fast as possible but they did not learn that he was hurt until they reached the dead body. The chase started when authorities tried to arrest the man for drug-related warrants in his condo. The suspect then fled police and ran across rooftops in an attempt to evade police. That’s when he decided to jump through a skylight and was found dead in the kitchen of one of the residents on the block.
