Hit-and-run Driver Charged with Attempted Murder
Earlier this week in the city of Calabasas, a driver of a Green Sedan struck a woman in a crosswalk before fleeing the scene before any authorities showed up. Witnesses described the accident as terrifying and has left them shocked that anybody could commit such an act. When police got to the scene of the crime, the woman was barely breathing and was immediately rushed to the hospital where she is currently in stable condition. None of the witnesses were able to describe the driver of the car that hit the woman, but they were able to give police a description of the car and a license plate number. Fortunately, police were able to find the car driving down a street close to the incident and were able to arrest the driver. Authorities have not released the identity of the either the victim or the suspect, but have assured the public that the suspect is being charged with attempted murder.
